HOW?? Just tell me how?

oki!!! when you open your bemused v1.4 server, u can see a drop down menu there, i think its default player i think, winamp 2 is the selected one, now choose media player 7, then there a text box, i think its associated files, i place avi;mpeg;mpg;wma and other file extension you want to play and load it to your list, but some of my video (.avi) cant see on the playlist (its a bug or it just doesnt support it), add the folder for your movie directory, now close and open the bemused server, then connect your 7650 to your bemused server, then refresh list (it is a good work for refreshing for just a second, great improvement, great job!) now you can see the folder of your movie files, then just select it to play, then media player will automatically load, best for video card with tv out, just like i do, it just like a real remote, you can play, pause, stop, next and back track but now forward and rewind

some function may not really work on windows media player 9 like adding to playlist, and just found out when you play directly on your phone, the full screen mode is disable, i dont know if it is a bug on media player 9 side or it just now compatible with it, but hey! its in experimental stage on media player 7 not 9 so don't expect to much

but i hope when its fully functional on media player 9, i hope there's a feature to full screen mode or select mode feature, even on 7

love bemused!!!

Thanks mjsee 😊 Glad to hear it works on WMP 9, I hadn't tested that version. I'll see about adding an option for playing in full-screen mode in the next version, and fixing some of the inevitable bugs.

or isnt a bug on bemused, i think it's just me hehehe i just found out when im not playing the video, the full screen mode is disable, but when i play the video, the full screen is enable, careless of me, just keep up the good work mental blank!!!

I can connect to the bemused server and it shows the file thats playing, but it doesnt fire up winamp....what am i doing wrong?

i'm using version 3

cheers

does anyone have the problem where the track time would appear sometimes and not appear sometimes on the phone, and also the track title never appears, it just says 'Bemused' where the track title is supposed to be? just something annoying...

I guess you're using Winamp 3?

This problem sometimes happens with Winamp 3, due to a bug in Winamp 3 itself - it should never happen with Winamp 2. The next version of Bemused should work around this bug. Alternatively, you can use a plugin with Winamp 3 to make it behave like Winamp 2 (as described in the Bemused README file). This should solve the problem.

Or you could just go back to using Winamp 2 - it's much better really 😊

grr..... 😃 😃 😃 😃

the problem i had bfore is repeated again

when i start the bemused on windows ME then suddenly a msg box pop up telling me illegal program or whatever then the only command button is close but then after i pressed close the msg box pop up again and the only way is to turn mmy computer off

😃 😃 😃 😃 😃 😃 😃

a q about the bemused.

First off - its a great APP!!!! 😃 😃 😃

but i have a question about the playlist.
perhaps i missed a point, but is there any way
of first setting the playlist, start playing it, then i want to browse the playlist and play one particular song and then continue one the
playlist?(without readding the files all over again)
When browsing the playlist on the phone and choosing one
song it will replace all entries allready on the winamps playlist
wont it?
(hope someone understands what im asking :-? )

otherwise..... i LOVE IT!

Yes, you can add songs to the playlist, but you can't browse the playlist and select specific tracks. This will be included in the next version (for Winamp 2 only).

I have problem with v1.4. Winamp is running good, but I can't use windows media player. I run bemused server, choose Media Player 7 and browsing folders with my 7650. Then I choose some video from list and give command to play it. Bemused server writes - Playing "C:\!!! FTP\Movies\_Removing soon - mash\mash009 - Kovboj.mpg", but it never starts. Media player is not starting and video is not playing 😞(( I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

I have very similar problem to n1ghtfly,
when i close bemuzed server to use data suite or other prorgam, a windows error box pops up that will not close, only solution is to restart the pc.

Is there an error log or something I can send you, mental blank, to help out?

Other than that it is one of the few progs that is never taken off my phone.
😊

Biermann, it sounds like there's a problem with the configuration of the Bemused server on the PC. Please could you either send me or post here your BemusedServer.ini file.

p51 - if you (or anyone else who's experiencing this problem) send me your e-mail address I'll send you a debug version of Bemused to try to figure out what's going on. Thanks.

Here is my .ini file:

[BemusedServer]
CommPort=COM8
Path=C:\!!! FTP\Music;C:\!!! FTP\Movies
StartWinampAutomatically=0
DefaultApplication=2
PathToApplication0=
ExtensionsHandled0=mp3;mp2;wav;wma
PathToApplication1=
ExtensionsHandled1=
PathToApplication2=
ExtensionsHandled2=mpg;avi
PathToApplication3=
ExtensionsHandled3=ppt
StartMinimised=0

There are two problems with your settings:

1. You didn't check the "start applications automatically" checkbox

2. You didn't enter the path to Windows Media Player.

If you fix these things, Bemused should work OK.
