Dear all,
I have installed the latest version of the PC Suite program for Smart Phones on SonyEricsson's website. It installs correctly. I can share files perfectly via the USB cable between the computer and the phone, but I cannot synchronize to Outlook (2003, SP3). I use Windows XP.
The synchronization ends after a minute and there is a message box that says the synchronization failed. Apart from that, no other information.
When I connect my phone to the computer via USB cable it recognizes a phone but of the wrong name, it says "P1i#2 Connected" instead of my real phone name, "Daniel". I have also tried the same thing with my other phone, a G900. Exactly the same problem, and its name is "G900#2".
I have tried to synchronize to my laptop (also Win XP). There I have no problems, so the problem must be in the computer or drivers and not in the phone.
I have tried to reboot and reinstall the PC Suite a million of times.
Does anybody know of this problem or have any clues of what could be the problem?
