It seems that Nokia Map Loader has 'graduated' from Nokia Beta Labs and has been updated to boot, it's now at v2.0.2 and ensconced on the main Maps page (click on 'Download' etc). I doubt there's more to the new version than bug fixes, but it's still great to see the whole Maps (/Chat/Share online) ecosystem all finally come together. The Flash intro video for Maps isn't that new, but is worth a watch and quite well done for getting the message across.

Hi
Why can't they give it a version number in the title, instead of always finding on downloading that there is an older version present and "do you want to replace it?"
Is it just me or the latest update (v2.0.26.b02) to Nokia Maps (the mobile app) did more harm than good? it became ever so sluggish plus the phone needs a restart after every time I exit Nokia Maps because it just slows down he whole blessed thing soooo much😞
is it like this only on my E90 or others have experienced the same?
A blog post from august 8 telling that Nokia Map Loader 2.0 just graduated from beta testing...
The map loader v2 got out of beta on july 21.
Interestingly India Map Size reduced to 22.1 MB from 24.2 Mb in the maploader, when new version was installed!!
Mac users, Linux users, and anyone who can't install Nokia Map Loader and .net framework (work, school, hotel, internet cafe etc.) can download maps for Nokia Maps straight from Nokia's own servers through http://nokiamaps.site666.info without installing anything. Works with any browser on any operating system.
