I have installed tt6 on my phone and can get it the tt globe to whirr around on the screen like a good un - but that's it. I can't get to the next stage.
I am new on here so if this has come up before please direct me to the thread.
Cheers

Tomtom isn't compatible with the internal gps on any s60 phone. Garmin is the solution that works with the gps.

As Roger says, TT6 won't work with the internal GPS but will work perfectly well with an external receiver.
What version of TT6 have you got ? The version on a memory card or the version on CD ? Have you followed TomTom's installation guide that came with the software ? Did you get as far as the language selection screen or map licence code entry screen ?
Have you spoken to TomTom support ?
The only downside to TomTom on Symbian devices now is that it is becoming woefully out of date, both in terms of the application and the maps. There are many more up to date and more efficient apps out there now. However, TomTom does still have, IMHO, the most intuitive interface and most reliable navigation out there still. Just a shame that TomTom have decided to ignore Symbian and focus on manufacturer tie in's.
I am now reaching the point where I am going to have to drop it and look at something more accurate map wise as I rely heavily on my Sat Nav.
Good luck.
