3G in the States

Checking to see if anyone is using there 3G on there E90 in the US. I have been searching for carriers that broadcast on 2100 and cant seem to find any. Is the E90 offered with any other frequencies for 3G?

There's no 3G network using 2100MHz in North America.

Nokia would have to produce an E90 that supports the North American 3G frequencies (instead or in addition to the frequencies used elsewhere). Currently Nokia produced different versions of the same hardware for North America vs. the rest of the world (+ sometimes a third one without 3G and Wi-Fi at all for China). The E90 is not currently available as a North American 3G hardware version.

For this reason (is anyone from Nokia out there listening?) I still have my Nokia 9300b (US version) after almost 3 years!

I suspect that between Apple's iPhone and all of the support from Microsoft and their Windows Mobile device backing, Nokia doesn't think that they can justify launching a US version of the E90.

It always makes me wonder why Americans always use different frequency's to the rest of the world.

Is their a reason or do they just get a kick out of being awkward.
