The Top 5 chart is early this week, and it includes two new entries. Can you guess what they are? Click on the headline to find out...

Read on in the full article.

Nice to see Reset Gen get the top spot, definitely deserves it, and it's even more amazing when you consider that the game is available totally free as a browser title too.

A shame Bounce didn't come in at second place, but then it did come out very late in the period covered by the chart. Maybe it will do better next week?

It's also pretty clear why Gameloft and EA are selling S60 ports on N-Gage: people are buying them! 😊

yay for reset in 1st!
O_o Tetris has been hanging on the chart quite long. Is N-Gages userbase growing faster than anyone expected, and the first games new people buy are from familiar publishers?

One thing is for sure, that many people love racing games, that's why Ashplat 3 is still on the charts. Even i liked the game. Hope to see many more and better racing games on Ngage in the future !!!

Unregistered, there are at least a couple of racing games on the way, Speed Racer and WRC. I don't know how good they will be, but they should definitely be racing of some kind. 😊

You are right ! Asphalt3 is doing well.
One thing which i cannot understand is why the heck Nokia not adding N73 and N93 to the list of phones which can run the Ngage?
I own an N73 and I am desperate to try the Ngage Games, I feel there are millions like me around the world who are stuck, neither do i have the budget right now to purchase a current ngage compatible model ?
I feel Nokia requires a whole new department which can explain these things to them, AND TELL THEM HOW MUCH THEY THEMSELVES ARE LOOSING?
I am dissapointed with Nokia !!!

about the "just a port" things, that it doesnt matter if its a port, what matters if its a GOOD port!
I am not crazy of Tetris, but I do play it now and then from 5 to 15 minutes.
Asphalt 3 is doing well, too yes. It is an excellent racing game I give it that, but what about System Rush? Thats a way better racing style game. Well, it is a racer, shooter and scifi flight game all wrapped into one, but the multiplayer aspect with online is basically racing. First one over the finish line or kill the boss usually wins.
The thing why SRE might not be selling so well is that people find it too hard, thus childish people are "i cant beat it so it suxz." Also it gives the first online subnet free to play in the trial, and people abuse this generous offer.
A few bad ports I can tell you and you will 100% agree are :
Sims2 pets and WSOP. Block Breaker and Tetris are average and Midnight Pool I find decent, yet there are way better non-port games than that.
And I think that Reset Generation got people who havent bought any N-Gage games yet to buy their first one, cos they got addicted to the game for free. XD
Nokia should really consider more of this sort of things. Extra content, cross platform, or some special feature via the web.
A demo of the game you can embbed on your own site? (For a new game like ONE, example)

Whatever Nokia do, they should wait until N-Gage is available on more models, and is pre-installed instead of requiring a manual installation.

There is no way N-Gage will succeed unless it's very easy to get an N-Gage-compatible device, and N-Gage has to work "out of the box".

about the "just a port" things, that it doesnt matter if its a port, what matters if its a GOOD port!

Try telling that to certain people! 😊

Personally I think Brain Challenge (for example) is a great game, but because it's identical to the Java version there are some people who hate it on principle.

The thing why SRE might not be selling so well is that people find it too hard, thus childish people are "i cant beat it so it suxz."

I think SRE's problem is the lack of a tutorial, it's quite difficult to work out what you're meant to be doing. The demo should have explained the game as you played it.

Once you know what to do the game isn't that hard, it's actually quite fun and easy to play, but I suspect few people ever work out how to play it.

Sims2 pets and WSOP.

To be fair, Sims 2 dropped out of the charts after just one week, and it only peaked at number 3 or something. WSOP has only been in the charts once too, so maybe people do avoid the worst ports.

With Sims 2 it was a real shame, it's got good graphics and a good interface, they just forgot to add any content. If they re-released it but with more locations, more tasks, more objects etc it would be a much better game.

i donno if its only me find the Bounce superb and i can say without fighting with people "Its better 100 time than Reset Generation".....relax......Reset Generation is quite nice too but my list is:
1.Bounce (i remember Crash Bandicoot).
2.System Rush (i like fast and difficult games).
3.Space impact (the same reason).
4.Hooked on Creatures of the Deep (when am sleepy).
5.Reset Generation.

i didnt try the Golf PRO Series yet cauz i dont play Golf...and didnt play BIA cauz i hate it when i c the demo...Asphalt wasnt bad but am waiting for the other racing titles and compare it then i can decide to buy it or not.
Sorry EA Sport...Gameloft is doing an average job and i cant Thumb up.
