I have just bought a MkII 7650 serial cable which I can't fit on my phone! I am assured it is the right cable but guess it must have some secret panel to enable connection! Can anyone help?

7650 hasn't got a place to stick a cable. Well, at least I haven't seen a hole on my 7650
The place to plug the cable in is directly under the camera lens. You really have to take your phone apart (not completely though) to stick the cable in.

You can use a 7650 Openeing tool to open the phone without damage or use to thin needle screw drivers or similar to open it with the risk of damage. 😊
