Regarding MP3 Tones and MP3 Tracks

Hi all, is there any way that the music player don't save mp3 tones to the gallery, instead in the default folder for built-in ringtones. Btw, I have an N95-8gb. I hate making playlists everytime. In short, I want mp3 tones to be separate from songs on my phones and not be read or mixed with the songs when playing.

Hi mrbranch,
I have the same problem. Have you found a way to split the ringtones from playing in music player?

I use a tag editor to change the properties for all my ringtone music files. e.g. made album, composer, genre etc all "Ringtone" - left title as is.

This means all my ringtones are in one Ringtone folder in the music player and not spread out all over the place.

cheers burcrim. So now when u ply all songs do you hear the ring tones. Or do u play from playlist?

What if you put them in your sounds folder as wave sound ( wav ) by way of usb cable threw my computer>phone>Memory>sounds It then gives you the option on phone gallery>sounds>your track>set as ring tone
