Can any one help, Had P1i for 9 months with no problems (best phone ever). Bluetooth worked fine with car head unit, transferring full contact details and numbers. I�ve downloaded latest SE update yesterday, now car head unit will recognise phone but not accept number and contact information. (New to any forum so please excuse my ignorance).

Last SE phone for me! Got to the problem myself after contacting SE. Basically its tough S***t. SE have update their software, which is now no longer compatible with BMW/Mercedes/Audi (ie a large percentage of world cars). Their (extremely/rude) unhelpful advise is contact your car manufacturer and get them to replace the head unit in your car, or update their software to make it compatible with SE. Apparently the small print makes it clear that this can happen. I guess the moral of the story is if it isn’t broke don’t fix it, unless of course, you want to be forced into buying a new SE product, or a new Car head unit.
