Zeemote to be compatible with NGage!

Great news this for those that like proper control for their games(especially those of us that have NGage phones with TV out such as the N93/N95 etc.).

Just seen it confirmed over at pocketgamer linky!

The Zeemote controller has already proven to be rather popular not only among pocket gamers, but people who get a lot of use from their mobile phone applications. It's now been announced that Nokia will be the first to apply the Zeemote Zeekee compatibility system to its handsets.

This new application allows the Zeemote JS1 Controller to work with N-Gage games and other S60 applications. The controller application will come pre-loaded on featured handsets and will also be available for download on the Nokia website.

Although it has to be said I've grown quite fond of using my Wii remote with the lovely little app MobiPad(which by the way Tzer2, you know I said it doesn't generally work held sideways like a NES controller, well it does when you're able to re-configure controls within the in-game menus, didn't think of that at first:cool😊 so whether I decide to purchase a Zeemote just yet might depend on the reviews.

There will be more articles on the Zeemote to come over at pocketgamer so keep an eye if you're interested😊

It's a funny old world... I wrote to Zeemote a few weeks ago to ask if they had any plans to do this, and they said they didn't.

I think we should wait to see this actually happen before we get too excited, N-Gage things have a habit of getting delayed. 😉
