N95 - 3G Connection Sharing?

its called tethering, just google for the settings for your provider. install nokia pc suite to your computer and it will set everything up for you, then just use connect to the internet option.

If you'd like your connection to be wireless, you could try JoikuSpot.

Basically it'll turn your N95 in an ad-hoc WLAN AP with a 3G data link.

hi all
i was very interested in this program so i have downloaded it, although the n-95 and the computer talk to eachother there is no data passing through,
they work well on cable and bluetooth but not with Joikuspot
any help will be welcome.
working today (bank hoilday) so i will try it again in later in the week.

Thanks for all the help so far. I have downloaded the free version of Joikuspot and it is working a treat, however... I can't get any HTTPS sites to work. HTTPS works fine on my 3G connection when I use a web browser on the phone, just not when I share my 3G connection over WLAN to my laptop..

Any ideas?

I managed to sort this one out in the end by checking their website.

I added a custom proxy server into my web browser for SSL traffic and set it as 192.168.2.1, which is the IP of my phone and the default gateway of my laptop. HTTPS websites now work on my laptop. 😊 I think the 'Premium' version of this software this issue is resolved.

yeah, the premium version works well for the HTTPS sites.. I think its got 40% off at the moment?!

hi all
as an update i have today downloaded the premium version (15euros).
i can now say that this version work great so far i have been on facebook, youtube and lots of other site that did not work with the light version.
my outlook also is OK:icon14:
