hi,new to the site and new to the nokiia n95 8gb,,im i right in saying that ive read tomtom cam be used on the n95,,if so,,how do i do this,,please help,,,it may be a simple question to some,,but like i say,,new to the site and the phone

tomtom does not work with the n95 GPS. you would have to buy an external bluetooth gps receiver. garmin is the best GPS app that works with the n95 GPS.

hi u have several apps for the n95 here are same examples nokmote; rotateme ; flipsilent; landscape pro etc
just do a quick search and u will find several

I use TomTom on my N95-8GB with an external bluetooth receiver in the car. Works very well and its handy having the app on the phone even without the GPS just for browsing maps, checking routes etc. Also, the external GPS receiver is much more sensitive than the internal one which quickly loses lock in built up areas.

There is a modified version of TomTom out there which can use the internal GPS. However, its also cracked. I do actually use this version as I have already purchased TomTom, so it not stealing, but it would not be appropriate to link to it from here.
