new to this so sorry if this question been asked/disguss before.
i hav the n95 with tomtom 6 using a external gps receiver which works perfectly,
i need to upgrade phones and looking at the n95 8gb.
Can i use my current tomtom 6 software (which is on cd) and install it on the new n95 8gb handset?? i understand it has no memory slot? so is it a simply case of 'drap and drop' the files straight to the handset using a USB cable ???

You'll need to contact TOMTOM to officially dissasociate your old handset from your software then just load the software onto your N95 8 GB using the data cable in data transfer mode and then poll the TOMTOM server to authenticate it. TOMTOM home from your PC loads up the software no probs - piece of cake...
