WLAN Wizard Problem (N95/8GB)

Everytime I try to search for a wifi service, I get the following error:

"System error"

The only option I have is to press "OK" and it defaults back to the menu.

I've checked the software and its the latest version for the handset as per Nokia's site - any info to resolve this would be great.

Thanks in advance :icon14:

I have seen this on my handset. In my case it was caused by Devicescape that had trouble to start at boot. I had it fixed by restoring the configuration files using the reset code. Try first soft reset code *#7370#, if that doesn't help the hard reset code *#7780#.

If I do either of those reset methods, will I lose things like my SMS/MMS/images etc?

I have no other software installed other than the stuff that was on the handset.

You should not. I lost some configuration (like I had to reenter my WPA key), but not SMS/MMS. Anyway, it's always a good idea to backup first....
