Howdy
I'm using my E71 as a modem for my computer while I wait for broadband to be installed in my new flat.
The connection works very well, but the problem is that 90% of the images that are downloaded and displayed on webpages are of a really low quality. On some sites I can improve the quality by pushing Shift+A or Shift+R.
However, I'm a photographer, and it means that I'm having to do this on virtually every page I visit and it's a right pain in the butt.
I asked on another forum and they suggested that it might be because I'm connecting via a WAP gateway which is doing some image transcoding on the fly.
I don't know how to check whether or not this is true.
I know what my connection settings are - general.t-mobile.uk is the access point - but how do I check whether or not that's a WAP point or not?
Moreover, does anyone know how I can stop this poor image downloading from happening?
Cheers!
Chris
