Reset music library?

Hi everyone,

I recently copied 4GB of music via bluetooth to my Nokia E90 and then realised the ID3-tags were messed up (too short). So, I fixed them on my computer and copied them over the old ones.
However, as the file names have stayed the same and it's only the ID3 titles that have changed, the music player still displays the old titles (unless I play them, but that's not enough). Refreshing the library does not work, as the file names are the same.
Is there a way of resetting the music library (deleting (the contents) of a file, perhaps?)? I tried removing the memory card, refreshing the library and re-inserting the card, but that didn't work, so I suppose there must be a file somewhere on it.
Can anyone help me?

Thanks,

Martin

Hi

I was frustrated about the Music Library refresh with my Nokia N85 8GB, but I finally found a solution.

Do the following:
Connect Nokia N85 to PC through Mass storage mode
Open Private folder
Open 101ffca9″ folder
Delete harvesterdb****.dat file (it's the only file in that folder)

Then boot your device, go to music player and refresh your music library.

For me, the first time I tried to refresh, nothing really happened. I aborted the first refresh, and tried it for a second time. Then it worked. All my "ghost" playlists etc. had gone, and all my new music data was refreshed.

This solution might work with other (Nokia) phone models too. Try at your own risk.

Hope this helps.
