Still trying to be aware of all software for the 9300...
Has anyone tried Nuance TALKS for the 9300?
http://www.nuance.com/talks/downloads.asp
They have a demo that you can load, but like always, I'd rather learn from someone else's mistakes (and their successes! 😊 ) than my own.
I've downloaded the demo, but haven't yet installed it as the instructions look a bit complex. Since it puts a talking layer into the OS, it must have control at a lower level than most other application software.
To me, this makes it a riskier install than your run-of-the-mill program.
Any feedback?
How do you manage to find all these applications?
I'm not sure that I would have a use for this, but I'll try it out when I get a chance.
Many thanks for the pointer.

How do I manage to find applications for the 9300?...
I like to think that I have "superior internet search skills". 😉
Since the start of the Internet, I have been intrigued by and have participated in search competitions. It's a talent!
In my line of work (engineering) I am constantly amazed by people who tell me that they have been searching for hours and can't find some bit of information that they need (usually a manual or brochure of some sort).
I find it a challenge to be able to do what others claim can't be done.
Sometimes I'll even bet them as to how quickly I can find what they've already given up on.
Without giving away all of my secrets, sometimes it more important to know what you don't want and exclude those items from your search.
This along with some systematic diligence is how I've managed to find among other things:
1. Assembly and disassembly videos for the 9300
2. Full set of .pdf color service and engineering manuals for the 9300.
3. Eleven different dictionaries for the 9300 - which I evaluated before deciding upon one to buy.
