I am a total noob at unlocking, so wanted to ask your advice. I have a Nokia 6120 (locked to T-Mobile UK) and now a brand new 6220 (locked to Three UK). I need to unlock both so that I can give my old 6120 to my gf who's on Orange, and use my new 6220 on T-Mobile.
I done some research and found some unlock code generator sites for my 6120. Followed the instructions to unlock it, but unfortunately it always comes back with some "bad code" error message (even after first try). As I bought the 6120 on ebay I cant be shure if someone before me has tried to unlock the phone. I understand that it might be that someone else tried and failed 5 times, thus blocking unlock code?!? Question: where in Central London can I go to have it unlocked.
I cant find any unlock codes at all for my 6220 ?? Do unlock codes exist for that phone? Do I need to go to somewhere to have it unlocked?
