I'm wondering if anyone can help me. I bought the N95 8Gb which is a very impressive phone and I'm pleased with it.
I was pleased to hear that the device supports MTP and Napster to Go. However it's very slow - when I plug the phone in, select MTP and go into either Napster or WMP it takes a few minutes to read all the music files, artists and albums on the phone (I have some unprotected MP3s that I transferred just using mass storage mode). I can still transfer music over whilst it's updating but if I want to delete anything I have to wait for it to load the entire list. Every time.
Does anyone know if there is any way of speeding this up? I would have thought that the computer would try and cache the list and only sync updates, but obviously not!
I am using USB 2 and the cable that it came with, and it's nice and fast-ish transferring tracks - just slow updating the computer's list of music on the device.
