7650/PC suite clock problem

I travel a lot and change the time on my 7650 to local time but keep my laptop on UK time. If I download a new app onto the phone the time is reset to UK time. I assume its reading the PC time when it installs. Couldn't work it out at first - thought it was a bug in the apps but this seems to be the most logical explanation. Anyone else having this problem?

Its not a "bug", its a documented "feature" in the 7650 instructions......

I dont THINK you have a way around it........every time you link your laptop with the phone, the time on the phone with sync to that of the PC/laptop.

there is an option in the menus somewhere (grabs phone and finds it again)..

Tools
Settings
Date and Time
Auto Time Update

Change the last one to off and all should be well 😃

That only stops the phone from getting the time from gsm network (if in use by operator)
Not the IR time sync.
