Hi,
Pls could someone help me out - I've done hours of googling to try and find the answer, but just can't work it out.
I have an N95 and am trying to install TomTom. I've installed other TomTom versions on an E65 and on an iPaq, so I'm not a complete novice.
I have all the TomTom files and folders I need, but I can't drop them straight onto the root folder of the N95's memory card or phone memory (which isn't big enough any way).
So, I have to create a new folder on the root memory called TomTom and then drop my files and folders in.
I install the program using Y-Browser, which seems to work fine, but then when I fire up TomTom it gets stuck at the first white page with the spinning globe.
I'm totally flummoxed. Do I need to get the folders onto the root folder and if so, how do I do it?
Would really appreciate some help on this one.
Thanks
S
EDIT - I just figured it out. I put all the folders into the TomTom folder I created. I then renamed the folder TomTom2 (bear with me!). ON THE PHONE I then moved the folders from within the TomTom2 folder out onto the root folder - the N95 allows you to do this. One of the inner folders is called TomTom, hence having to change the outer one to TomTom2 to avoid the clash. Once I'd moved them all out to the root folder, it works fine.
