Problems updating latest firmware

1 replies · 2,693 views · Started 04 September 2008

I have a N95 (not 8GB).
Just updated product code to EURO1 via NSS.
Trying to update firmware to latest version it's letting me - 21.0.016.
Nokia Software Updater says it's updating software - progress bar shows 15minutes estimated time left.
Phone seems to switch itself off, then NSU says Phone Recovery - tells me to remove battery and charger, re-insert and retry.
I do this, connect phone via USB and select PC Suite (not sure if this is best option?)
Retry, then phone switches off again.
Then Windows tells me it's found new hardware - locate and install driver software (recommended). I do this, and it says that an 'unidentified device has been installed'.
NSU says Phone Recovery again.
Any suggestions?

Try uninstalling Nokia updater and reinstall that... then try again, although latest Euro 1 code will get you onto v30.
