Debranding of nokia n95 8G

Hi Guys,

Just a quick question on Debranding as I am not really sure if I did it right or even if it is debranded (apologies if my questions sound stupid for most of you guys)

- I have debranded my nokia N95 8G with nemessis and nokia software updater as described in the link below
http://clear-nokia.blogspot.com/2007/05/nokia-n95-debranding-guide.html
- everything worked like a charm
- I then restored all my apps and contacts that I had backed up previously with nokia pc suite
- again, eveything went just fine
- my phone works a lot better now and is faster and less buggy- battery is holding much better as well

But how do I know that my phone is really debranded ? I mean, where do I have to look to know that it is debranded?

When I debranded my nokia I had firmware v20.0.016 (latest available in Europe). Was that firmware compatible with the debranding ?. It said in a couple of post that you do need to upgrade firmware after you change the product code in order for the debranding. If that is right, my phone is not debranded at all 😊
- i used 0534841 EURO1 for the product code. I am in Ireland and with Vodafone

Thanks for your response
