N-Gage Sales Chart for 25th to 31st of August 2008

No new entries this week (ha ha ha Dogz!) but we've now added a second chart which shows the total number of weeks all N-Gage games have spent on the chart. This second chart doesn't tell us exactly how much they've sold in total, but it gives us a rough idea of how well they've done overall.

Read on in the full article.

To be fair to Reset Generation and FIFA08, both of these games are being given away for free in some form or another, which would of course make them much less likely to appear in the sales charts.

Asphalt again!
I wonder why we never see games like System Rush, Space Impact and Mile High Pinball on the chart.

MD90 that answer is simple ppl are buying into the brands and not quality
the 3 games u mention are all better games than what the 3rd Party's offer but they have the big name games no matter how bad they are their Branding sells them

I used to play games on the ZX Spectrum in the 1980s and that's exactly what people used to say back then when the charts came out.

Sales charts are always full of rubbish games which seem to sell based on having a famous name.

Some people seem to be obsessed by brand names, I've even seen some people saying the original N-Gage was great because it had Call Of Duty on it. They obviously never played it as the game itself was awful:

As a game to get excited about, Call of Duty fails spectacularly. What we have is an exercise in frustration, and not something All About N-Gage can recommend. Some people may enjoy it, but they'll be few and far between. AAN Score 45%

about selling by brand:
Worse is, some people overlook the flaws of the big brand junk and rate them a 5 and write "add me." Maybe because theyre too ashamed to admit the spent 10 on shit like worst series of poker. (kudos to Arena member delixe for the pun!)
Then theres the thing if a game is slightly more difficult than Asphalt3, (AI seems to stand for Artificial Idiot there) like SRE, casual people wont like it, simply cause they cant beat it in their first go.
