How to bluetooth music file to N73 from PC?

2 replies · 3,233 views · Started 08 September 2008

I downloaded a free ringtone to my PC.

Now I want to bluetooth it to my phone. I don't have the PC suite or cable which came with the phone.

Anyone know how to do this? I've stuffed around for awhile and checked the manual, but no luck.

Hi,

You can use Bluetooth Dongle to transfer the files from PC to Mobile Phones via Bluetooth. It costs around 200/- to 300/-...

And, typically, if Bluetooth is configured properly on your PC, then just open Windows Explorer, highlight/select the file you want to send, right-click, choose Send to, and then Bluetooth device.

Then on the phone, the file ends up as message in the Messaging application. Open the message on the phone, and in the music player save the tone. After you've saved it, you can delete the message.

And you can also get Nokia PC Suite from http://www.nokia.com/pcsuite and use it over Bluetooth (without the cable).
