The N95 8GB gets v30 too!

Can someone who upgraded their firmware do a test for me? Visit www.operamini.com with the built in browser and see if the site correctly detects your phone as N95 8GB. For mine, it was unable to do so and I landed up with an installation of Opera Mini with a really small icon... Sighs...

v30 firmware still has lagging video recording problem, this is really stupid. frames freezes every few seconds during recording

Vodafone users, you can update to the latest firware. Google it. Not strictly legal, but perfectly possible with free tools widely available online.

Is that an weak attempt at avoiding to say "it is illegal" (or is this an are where you're not quite comfortable admitting that it is illegal and that you are willing to break laws)?

A way to avoid the uncomfortable feeling of breaking laws with operator customized phones is not to get such in the first place (don't enter binding subsidized, subscription contracts/plans you feel you have to break), or if you do, live with whatever restrictions they come with (you accepted the terms by signing the agreement in the first place).

I have two Nokia N95 8GB (RM-320) phones and using the Nokia Software Updater one would update and the other one didnt have the update shown ! strange
Recommend the update if you can get it
Have seen no problem with the Video / Camera functions unlike one other I read about
if your screen stops auto rotate then
