Hi, Any help appreciated.
Music player database full. Player will not launch. (N73)
I loaded a large number of small mp3 files from some language teaching software. I then ran update database from the music player. When the number of files found reached about 1200 it reported memory full and I had to cancel.
Now music player will not start from the shortcut or media key. It opens, waits a few seconds then closes and will not accept any user input.
The memory on the card and phone is not reported as even close to full.
It will still launch and play music if I click a track individually from the file manager.
I think the player is defaulting to a corrupt album or track when launched or maybe the track database list is corrupt.
I have tried restoring from a previous backup but this changes nothing.
I would like to locate the Music Players database files and remove/replace then with an uncorrupted version but cannot find out where to look.
How can I recover from this?
