Hi,
I am wondering if anyone can tell me how to set my e71 to automatically use my wireless lan and my phone data connection, because right now every application that requires a data connection it asks which connection would I like to use. Is there a setting somewhere I can change so it doesn't as me this say for web, operea, gmail, etc,,, Thanks

Thanks, but I was hoping that there was a setting some where that I was missing that would tell programs such as email, web browser, etc... to use a certain access point as the default and to not ask me everytime. Any ideas anyone????

Sorry, I misunderstood
You want to specify the connection for each app?
You're not trying to get the phone to select the "best available" connection automatically

Go to "Messaging"
Options,
Settings,
E-Mail,
select your mailbox...
Connection Settings,
then for both Incoming e-mail and Outgoing e-mail...
Access point in use - should point to the connection you want to use

If you're using Mail for Exchange it's the same up to "select your mailbox..." and then...
Options,
Edit profile,
Connection,
Access point - should point to the connection you want to use

For the web browser:
Open the Web app
Options,
Settings,
General
Access point - should point to the connection you want to use
