Does anybody have any experience with using the e90 as a modem on the eee pc with it's linux os. If have previous managed to connect my old n95 to it and surf the net on the eee pc without any problems, but have been unable to do the same with the e90!!!

You can't do it over Bluetooth, via USB it works fine though.
I use mine with my Ubuntu Laptop when camping. I too used to use it over bluetooth with my N80 and N95's but for some reason teh e90 seems to have a bug in the bluetooth stack, when it tries to initiase the modem using ATZ it fails to recognise the command. The same init script fired over USB works 100%.

...works fine for me - a wonderful piece of software! I did fiddle and get it to work with the data cable, but to be honest I don't touch that now. WHS works just fine with both my old 701, and my current 1000.
