Sounds disappeared

I reinstalled the firmware on my N82 yesterday after changing the language, and then loaded back all my apps, music etc onto the memory card.

All was fine until I loaded maps onto the card this morning - now the phone cannot access *any* sounds on the card! It was fine before loading maps on, as the alarm woke me up at 07:20 this morning (the alarm used a sound on the memory card). When I go into settings and try to change the sounds, I get a message along the lines of the following: "(the sound you currently have set) is currently unavailable. The default sound has been assigned." Thing is, even the default sounds don't work. Whenever you select a sound on either the phone or memory card, you get a quiet beep.

This has happened before, once. I'm guessing I need to format the memory card again? Anyone else experienced this?

It seems the memory card wasn't the problem. I took it out, but none of the sounds on the phone worked, so I did a hard reset of the phone and now all is working.
