I've found two issues with bluetooth on my E71.
First: My bluetooth connection to my headset keeps dropping and re-establishing over and over again. This doesn't happen all the time but about 50% of the time I've had my headset on.
Second: When I get an incoming phone call, the ring is not forwarded on my headset which sucks if I have my car window open and the ambient noise drowns out my phone.
The headset is a Motorola H350 which I've had no issues on other phones with.
yes this is serious bug with all e71 phones. there is a big thread on this over at howardforums. the same thing happens to my nokia bh-501 bluetooth headset. all we can do is wait for nokia to release a firmware update with the fix for this bluetooth fix.
Yes I have the exact same issue. Nokia are using us as beta testers. And we have to pay them for the privilege!
I have had none of these issues with a H700 so it leads me to wonder if it's the headset and not the phone itself.
