It is serious, plenty of people stand to die if Bush decides to attack Iraq for their oil, and if most of them aren't innocent people I'll be surprised.

It is EXTREMELY SERIOUS! It could cause global recession due to increased oil prices which could affect most of us. Further destabilisation of the region will result in a breeding ground for terrorist groups and in turn make the U.K.(and other areas) more vulnerable to attacks.
I don't mean to get too deep but the issue infuriates me,most people don't know the true facts and their history plus the 'sun' reading public have the attitude of bomb the 'sandniggers' but it is encouraging to know that not everyone is fooled by Bush and his lapdog Blairs bumbling attempts to justify war for financial gain under the heading of Counter Terrorism.
In a speech recently Bush likened the situation to 'a rerun of a bad movie' which he 'aint interested in watchin'.How can such a half wit be running the most powerful country in the world?I'll tell you how, he is a puppet president.
It sickens me that a country in which the first ever civilisation was born,where written language,mathematics,astrology were realised and where our our own religion was conceived,that, this country with all its history is going to be reduced to rubble.
The repercussions will be serious not just for the Iraqi people,who in the southern areas have been devasted by the chemicals dropped in the gulf war.There has been an astronomical growth in the number of birth abnormalities and cancer and it is thought in ten years time that 40% of the population in the south will have some form of cancer.What will it be like after the impending war?
what did the Iraqi people do to deserve this,have a dictator ruling their country?

George Bush is worse than Saddam Hussein. He's a warmongering dictator dancing round under the banner of "democracy" and "peace", and more than willing to bomb half the world. Hussein may terrorise his own people, but at least he doesn't attack and bomb mostly defenceless countries that his country helped arm and train the ruling government (Taliban) only to kick these people out who served their purpose some years ago. I have to say I'm with France, Germany, and Russia on this one, Blair has his head up Bush's backside giving it Brown-nose Factor 10, we don't need to suck up to America.
Aww nuts to it, let's just reinstate Thatcher, put half the country on the dole and have a good war, all the shouting and moaning won't help.
