Taken the plunge and ordered a i8510, what does anyone recommend as a the best antivirus to get?
I used to have the Nokia 7710 (s90) and used Fsecure, currently using Kaspersky on my pc.
Any suggestions welcome.

There is no need for Antivirus at all on Symbian 9.x platforms as there are no serious virus threats or issues (since it is relatively closed system needing certificates etc).
any "viruses" that have been published are really rubbish ones that is really only installed by clueless people..
Putting AV on a phone will slow it down even further - so the actual use of it is rather questionable.
Antivirus is completely pointless. Im surprised the companies selling them arent prosecuted for fraud.
NEVER EVER EVER be fooled into believing you need anti-virus on a Symbian phone.
The platform security is so great that you can't really install anything truely dangerous anyway.
And you'd have to be incredibly brain dead to randomly install something sent to your always visible by bluetooth handset from someone you didn't know. Even then, you'd have to tell the person you didn't know the passcode to send things to your device before you even got the chance to install it.
...so unless you fit into the catagory above, you'll be fine 😊

Its perfectly normal to send files without pairing, you just have to click "yes, accept transfer from...". Most people dont bother pairing to send files atall anymore.
Ok! But the fact is that I received so hard to deal with the Norton AV software. So that I have enforced for search-and-destroy which is actually better in security.
Thank u....................
