Well, this is something the original gen never got, all that Capcom released on the original gen was the board game Catan. The only game that could top this for brand recognition among hardcore gamers is perhaps a Final Fantasy title, and Nokia were in negotiations with Square Enix a couple of years ago so who knows...
(Having said that, I'd quite like to see Catan come back for this generation too, the higher resolution screen and better online multiplayer options would make it much more playable. Reset Generation has proved there's a market for online board games on phones.)
Damn, I absolutely LOVE the Resident Evil series, must get an NGage compatible phone before this releases if the N93 is still "support coming soon", will need this game on release, yes or yes!
Great to see!
As an aside Capcom should re-release Catan on NGage2, it's found a whole new audience since it was released on Xbox Live, and with WiFi it's perfect for online.
after mgs, resident evil and star wars it would be the time for a final fantasy title. graphics can be awesome as star wars has proved even without 3d hw acc. imagine final fantasy 7 with its graphics on a mobile device and with hours and days of gameplay...
