Is there anyway I can use my N95 with my bmw i can answer calls but cant bring up my address book or seem to use the voice activation..

anyone help

The voice activation will be the pairing with the car and the phone BT system. If its not allowing you to voice dial, it is probably the bluetooth command being sent from the car module.

The phonebook is a little easier to sort usually. If you download the N810 contacts manager, install that, delete the pairing with the car and then repair it... you should 'after a little while' get your phonebook available..

Great advice thanks...I got my address book on the car!!!!! How can i get the voice recognition to work???? wanna get the most out of it as this extra has cost..

From memory, the N95 and infact all N-Series devices arent listed as compatible with BMW BT modules.

Clearly though it does work. I dont know with BM's if you have to store the data tags seperately as you do with say, an Audi. In Audi's when you voice dial it doesnt actually look at the phone, it looks at the directory that is constantly being updated from the N95 to the RNS-E.
