Unplugging MMC cards and MMC/SIM lid

As we all know, MMC cards are "hot-pluggable". I just wondered if there is a switch in the plastic lid which allows acces to the MMC/SIM card. I noticed all ICONS on the desktop change (ti puzzle pieces) when I open the LID before even unplugging the MMC. Can anyone confirm this?

Yes, there's little plastic pin.. and as you can see the metal in the hole where that pin goes. That metal is basic on/off switch.

Edit There's same kind switch in lock what holds battery.. meaning of that is tell to OS that you're going to take off battery, and save all unsaved data.

Anyone know how to stop messaging switching back to communicator storage when you remove the card temporarily.

I take the card out to place in a reader sometimes, but after replacing it then launching messaging, it changes to storage on the main memory.

Should anybody be thinking of tampering with it just don't or be extremely careful. The plastic pin pushes a fragile copper switch that easily bends when pushed with something else. Bended it will not be in reach of the pin and as such the MMC will no longer be seen.

Yep, been there... User posted image solved it User posted image, but cost me a quarter of an hour and a lot of sweat.
