I have Windows Media Player 11 and a PS3, and I'm able to stream content on my PS3 from my laptop via WMP11 with no trouble at all.
I can detect my PC on my phone via the DLNA app, but it states '(no data)' even though I have plenty of vids/music in my media library on WMP11. As I say, all of this content is easily picked up by the PS3. Has anyone managed to sync their i8510 to their PC via WMP11? If so, how?!
It doesnt work for me either. It didnt really matter to be so I never bothered trying to make it work really.
I also have Orb running on my PC and it streams fine from that.
i have nero mediahome streaming to my ps3 ok.
using the DLNA app on my i8510 i can browse media server sort of ok, though some folders are empty that shouldn't be. When i try to play an MP3 or movie I see the dialog 'Select Renderer' and the list only has (no data).
