One (new?) trick and one question for P800

Ok, here comes the trick first: I have found out that you can make an photo (make sure that it is smallest size, put contrast and lightness on max), then copy it and go to new SMS/insert image/new/paste and there you go! You have photo EMS picture

Now the question: how can I set the time for one slide in an MMS. It is set to 5 Seconds, but can this be changed???

Wow... cool. The P800 does icons! 😊

The steps are slightly different from what you wrote though, at least on my Firmware version.

First, take a high contrast photo - lots of start whites and blacks - monotone, harsh contrasts are the best.

Next, view the photo, and copy it (not copy to, but copy).

Go to messaging, create a SMS message. Click in the message area.

Under "edit', click "insert object". Choose Picture, click done. Next dialog box, click "new". You'll come to a 32x32 pixel editing surface with four selectable icons at the bottom (each with a range of edit choices), and the ability with the third icon to change the size to 16px or 8px.

On the Edit menu at top, click paste. The P800 does it's best to duotone your image in memory. Pretty slick. You can then edit further if you want, then click done. Save the object with a name, click save, then select, and walla, an icon in your sms!

Nifty stuff.

BTW, sorry, I don't know the answer to your second question - I haven't used MMS yet.

When you have inserted a picture or text hit it with the stylus and you get an option to edit time 😃
