i also hooked the phone up to the PC and connect it to software updater prog. and it said ur phone is up to date so any ideas...

i go the phone from newegg.com then go to unlocked cell phones and u will see it there so

WATS is WRONG WIZ IT???

help PLZ!!

Try this:-

Menu > Tools > Settings > General > Personalisation > Display > Rotate screen (set to automatic

I seem to remember reading that the n95-4 doesn't have the auto-rotate screen function for some reason (I think this was back in July - not sure if any firmware updates since then have added it).

You could install a 3rd party application such as RotateMe, which does the same job.

i know there is an app called rotateme but they say u have to sign it or something like this and idk how.... and it is too much steps and some ppl said it didnt work for them so if u have an easier way that will be greatly appreciated..

thx for replying

He needs to upgrade to v30.0.015 to get the Autorotate feature as part of the firmware.

The alternative as some have suggested is to purchase Rotate Me by Samir.

Whichever you choose .. Good Luck!😊

you'd think by now that Nokia would have these firmware releases synchronized .. 😊

I thought that the N95-2 (the non-NAM 8GB) had auto-rotate in firmware v20? It was added to the N95-1 in v30.

RotateMe was free to download when I got it - not sure if it has to be purchased now (Samir's site is temporarily under-repair).

I also signed it long ago - I haven't used the new signing technique now, having "hacked" my phone to avoid all the needless hassle of signing non-commercial apps.
