Hi,
does anyone know where in the E90's file system the Calendar (and Contacts for that matter) file is stored? I have installed the free Y-Browser program, which shows the system area, but I still can't find the calendar, which I find worrying. Even more worrying is that although the file manager tells me I'm using 11 MB of phone memory, when I back up the phone memory to a memory card, it only uses less than 1 MB, which is less than the combined size of my Calendar and Contacts files! (at least as they were on my 9500 Communicator) Can anyone shed any light on this?
Apart from the desire to understand what's going on, I'm concerned about this because the "Data Mover" moved all my appointments from my 9500 Communicator's Calendar without any problem, but failed to move any of my many to-dos (perhaps as I had more than one to-do list?), and I'm trying to work out the best way to transfer them, without risking losing any data...

You need to hack your phone...the calendar and the contact data base located on the C\sys and c\private and you cannot browse these folders with Y Browser.
Dont worry about the size even the PC suite back up 1.5MB file when it must be more than 20MB. It give a .txt report with Correct number of my contact and calender entries back up.
Blind about previous Communicators, sorry. i uninstalled the Data mover after buying the E90 immediatly.
I forget to say use LCG Xplore its better than Y Browser and freeware too.
Thanks very much for the advice! I still haven't actually tried wiping the phone's internal memory and restoring a backup, but suitably reassured, after backing everything up, I tried to move the to-dos from my 9500 to my E90. Having deleted all but one of my to-do lists I first tried it with the Data Mover, but that still didn't work, so I tried the Transfer program, and once I'd realised you have to use the "Edit" menu option to enable synchronization of the calendar as well as the contacts, it worked 😊
