If you're a fan of strategy and simulations, we would strongly advise you to take a look at the unofficial game Westward, which is a rather excellent town-building sim set in the Wild West featuring a plot and a strong sense of humour. Our sister site All About Symbian will be reviewing it soon, but in the mean time you may want to see it for yourself. Westward was originally released for the PC in 2007, and this is a pretty faithful port of it.

I've been playing this quite a lot today, it's very addictive in the same way Sim City or Civ are. It's also a bit like Sims: Bustin Out on the original N-Gage.
The control system is a bit fiddly but once you get used to it there's a LOT to see and do in the game.
a gr8 game, music and graphic are good, but $19.95, too expensive
I think $20 is okay for a game with this much depth and gameplay, though it is at the higher end of the phone game price scale.
It's too expensive. I'm going to wait for a AAS review. BTW, Astraware always makes good games. I have Astraware Board Games. It's a really good game. I wonder why nokia don't let them make n-gage games. Board Games would be a great game on n-gage, with online multiplayer. I really like to play chess and checkers online.

Too expensive by what standards?
Westward could be a Nintendo DS game, and they tend to cost 40 or 50 euros, compared to Westward's 14 euros.
BTW I've done the AAS review of this game and it should be appearing soon.

It might be partly that Astraware don't actually make that many games, most of their titles nowadays are re-releases of other people's work.
For example Westward was made for the PC by Sandlot and then converted to S60 by Binoteq. All that Astraware really do is handle the marketing and customer support.
By the way MD90, if you want to play board and card games online have a look at the Online Multiplayer part of the Unofficial Games section:
