How to change ring tone for incoming fax

Subject says it all. If I receive a fax call (indicated by the letter "F" in the balloon), my 7650 just vibrates and clicks. No ring tone what so ever. Maybe I'm blind, but I couldn't find a way to set the ring tone for fax and data calls, like I could with my 7110. Can anybody help? BTW, the fax is accepted correctly.

I imagine this is profile related, and you are using silent profile for incomming messaages, in which case your Fax will look the same.

I do not use faxing myself so this is just an idea.

With the standard 7650 software you can have one tone for calls and one for messages for each profile. No more, no less, sorry.

Thanks Bob. But even if I am using a non-silent profile, fax calls just vibrate. Voice calls do ring. :roll: I guess you are right and you can't distinguish fax, voice and data in the profiles.
