I am trying to use data transfer mode on my N-95 and keep getting message "mass memory storage in use" I have stopped everything that loads from mass memory and still getting message. Anybody???

That is supposed to happen. It is just the phone telling you the mass memory is now in use by the data transfer and you can not use the mass memory on the phone at the same time.

Not true maybe I didn't give enough information. Message says unable to activate data transfer mode, mass memory is in use by another application.

USB data transfer mode activated. Mass memory may not be used during this time.
Do you use Mass Memory for texts?
Menu > Messaging > Options > Settings > Other >Memory in use
If so, you will need to change back to phone temporarily.
