Thanks to ratkat for the tipoff, but vtap have released a native S60 version of their 'videos from everywhere' client. This forms a competitor to the likes of emTube and Mobitubia - and of course to YouTube's own mobile client. vtap's unique selling point is that it aggregates from more than just YouTube. Look out for a video head to head between these four different systems in the near future.

Curiously, I just get 'file corrupted' - anyone else had more success with this?
It appears vtap's online file is corrupt, ratkat has kindly sent across the latest working version, here. vtap, if you're listening, please fix your file!!
I really liked the layout of the actual player and the 'AJAX' search worked nicely although they need to work a little bit on the graphics there compared to the player (which is really nice).
They do need to work on the stability, the first video I played only lasted for about a minute then my phone rebooted... (N78)
Maybe it works better for you guys that are using FP1 and older?
I have had one reboot too, watching a clip of Top Gear on my E71, but have watched about 20 other clips without issues.
I still think emTube is the best for playback quality, but this has its advantages, my fav being you can link your youtube account for viewing and uploading your own clips direct to youtube, you can even record a video clip inside the vtap app and post straight to youtube, it is like share online for youtube.
At least this should continue to be developed and updated, unlike emTube and to some extent Mobitubia
Easy UI, everything you need is already on the home screen. Other youtube players should take note. The graphics indeed are bad tho, but that doesn't matter that much to me.
But my biggest issue with vtap is that it transcodes the video before sending it to your mobile right? I want the original flv, the quality is already bad enough there.
