In the latest AAS Insight podcast, Rafe, Ewan and I cover a range of issues, from the latest hardware (N96, and lots on the T-Mobile G1 running Android and how it fits into the current Symbian (and to some extent iPhone)-dominated landscape) and upcoming N-Gage titles.

What is the production like on this latest podcast or does it come with the usual pops, clicks, fades, keyboard banging, dogs barking, phones ringing in the background...😡

Jay

You mean you WANT all those things? 8-)

We do try to keep interruptions down, but this is real life and we've all got customers, families and pets... AND we're recording remotely from across the globe (well, across part of it, anyway.....)

Rafe and I will make more effort to get higher quality audio though, I've a few ideas at my end....

I don't like your tone. If you don't like it, don't listen to it. It's not like you've paid for it, these people make it for free and let us listen to it. I appreciate their effort. It doesn't seem like you do.

...what do you expect from a guy calling himself "Jay La Funk"

I happen to dislike your tone also, I have posted before that I really the like the shows content, I know how much hard work & endeavour is put into the show & I am also an avid fan of Steve's Phone Show...

I make a comment about the production of the podcasts being bad which has been mentioned by other posters before and even Steve says himself that he has ideas of improving it, so this makes my comment valid, so with this in mind maybe you will congratulate me in bringing this topic to mind and your enjoyment & mine of future podcasts will be all the more enjoyable from the great team of presenters who make them by improving the production...

As for NickS_UK very droll comment on my user name, maybe he should add an S to the end of his which would properly better describe him...

Jay

I think thats enough arguing.

Jay, nearly all your posts have been purely just to bash the podcasts, so you have to understand why people think you are just moaning for the sake of it.

And your tone was wrong, it does not have to be in bold with an angry face. As others said, its a free podcast made by busy people in spare time.

Perhaps you could stump up some money to contribute towards time and a place to record? Personally I have never heard anything like that which has caused a problem.

Ewan's WW2 analogy is utterly perfect, and a real eye-opener. I never really fully understood why my parents, who lived through the war, hate the Yanks so much, but my own resentment at iPhone hype is probably a little of what they felt.
