Just in case you don't know already 😊
You can now use your FM transmitter on N78. It allows u to transmit music from the device to the radio over a short distance. There isnt any wires conecting the two together and it is simple to set up and use. You can tune in your car radio to the frequency set on the N78 and can easily play the music playlist on ur phone, which will then transmit the same to the car radio system and boom through the speakers. Takes away the hassle of creating CDs for fav. numbers.

FM Transmitter on N78
...but it does not work for playing streaming audio from say, the n78's inbuilt internet radio app. Pity!
I bought my n79 on ebay, and it has come without the FM transmitter application, can anyone point me in the direction of where i can find it?
thanks.
In some regions/countries the FM transmitter has been removed/disabled (local legistlation prohibiting such devices/functionality). In other words, on a N79 (its firmware version) intended for such a region/country, it isn't there to find, I'm afraid.

is there a way i can download and install the FM transmitter app
or can i flash the firmware and put on one which has the FM transmitter. (i'm in the UK by the way, so FM transmission i legal, i believe.)
There is a weird and wonderful procedure to enable the transmitter for the N78, wonder if it might be applicable to the N79?

BTW this transmitter is very low power compared to some of the external ones with 3.5mm jack - I doubt you will get brilliant results in a car. Also, no streaming media. So maybe not a big deal if it's missing?
Thanks man. I'll try this tonight.
the method in the link above won't work because Nemesis Service Suite doesn't recognize the N79 yet 😞
