Sandisk 16GB Micro Sd

While I'm thinking about it, received my Sandisk 16GB Micro SD from My Memory a couple of days ago. Finally got all my stuff transferred from the 'old' 8GB card yesterday and everything works just fine - no problems whatsoever. My credit card is all a quiver now in anticipation of yet more maps from Viewranger...

Just in case anyone wanted to know or was unsure.

(My Memory were slightly cheaper that Blueunplugged but their service was excellent - First time I've used them, off the back of Steve Litchfields recommendation on 3-lib - Thanks Steve)

Yes...E90 is compatible with Micro SDHC (high capacity) this mean you can use the upcoming 32gb too...even 64gb if u want.

That's not actually true. I was informed by Nokia support in Holland that the current E90 FW only "officially" supports 4GB microSD cards; what this means in practice is that you may be lucky getting larger capacity cards to work (I use an 8GB card), but that you may also be unlucky...

Just checked the My Memory web page and yes, it is a class 2.

Not sure if that makes any difference for me though - everything works just as well as it did before, I just have a bit more room now - but it's rapidly getting less... 😉

nice to know that 16gb cards work. But what do you mean with the classes? The speed?

Because maybe a class 2 works but a class 4 or 6 wouldn't.

fyi, I use a 8gb card aswell
