Custom Ringtones on Nokia e71 US version

Is there a way to place custom ringtones on the phone? Just wondering as that would be quite nice to be able to do that.

Of course you can, just go to Menu -> Tools -> Profiles -> choose the profile you want to change the ringtone -> Customize and then point the "Ringing Tone" option to whichever sound file you want to play as your ring tone.

yes you can use any mp3 file as a ringtone. so just put your music collection on the phone and select a song as your ringtone. or you can get real actual ringtons and transfer them to the device as well.

Thank you guys very much, I will be doing that shortly. Do the mp3s have to be a specific size? I know that certain phones have a size limit on the ringtone.

AFAIK there is no size limitation. I just set a 4 minute song as my ringtone without any issue.
