In case you hadn't gathered, Nokia's big launch (device? new platform? We're sworn to secrecy...) is tonight, at 5.30pm BST (4.30pm GMT), entitled 'Nokia Remix London' and, as usual, there's a virtual event page where you can follow all the happenings, releases and chat. If there's a video stream, look out for Rafe, who'll be there to capture video and images for All About Symbian.

Well, the title 'Nokia Remix London' suggests that it is... well, in London.
Hope this event offers more than the ovi presentation and that I can concentrate on work until then 😉

Mobilereview posted today a preview about the tube, and it says that Nokia NDA embargo on 5800 express music ends today (or at least google translation of the article says so).

The name Nokia Remix London suggests its got to be the announcement of 'Comes with Music' and let's hope they use 5800 as the CWM launch handset.
The tube (5800) will definitely be announced, it's been all over the news (e.g. Reuters) that this would happen and there's been enough leaks etc. Question is what are the specs like, most interesting of which are the touchscreen obviously - will it be a crappy HTC/Windows Mobile style single touch, will it be better somehow but not multitouch, will it be some form of multitouch? My bet is single touch, with haptics (force feedback).
2nd thing is screen res. Rumour is 640 X 360 pixels, which would be very nice. Even nicer if the TV out supported higher res for apps than 320 X 240.
And of course we have dual LED flash, WiFi, 3G (obviously), 30fps video capture, GPS (unsurprisingly these days).
Anyway, we'll see!
If they are doing the tube tonight, I really hope they have it right... sticking with their traditionally late entries to market they have had time to look at what does/doesnt work... so it should be interesting... 😉
i think times are wrong on virtual event it says 5:30 UK it' 6:20 now and still not launched
I think their virtual event is staying virtual!!! Probably their software crashed? Or someone forgot to flick on a switch???

This is very bad service from Nokia😞 Why do they advertise that something is going to happen at 5.30pm UK time, if they are not going to show anything then?? It's already 7pm and still nothing. Where can I complain? I want my money back😊
