Regarding polyphonic, help!

Can anybody explain to me what is the different between all these file type .mmf, .wav,.mid? Although I've been using them all the while but I'm quite confusing about them. Are all of them polyphonic? If that the case can I use the polyphonic ringtone from other phone(such as samsung .mmf) with my P800? Thank and regards.

Only midi and mmf files are polyphonic I think, but Samsungs mmf won't work on the P800. You need to convert them to midi. There's a program that lets you convert mmf to midi, but I don't remember what it's called...sorry

Cheers

Thank for helping ,Raven. But MIDI on P800 sounds a bit soft, is there any other way that I can re-encode the MIDI to make it louder?

You could use a program (e.g. Cakewalk Pro) to change to volume of each MIDI instrument to maximum (127)
